Most DMVs only check for vehicular warrants, but with states getting more active catching 'dead beat dads", they MIGHT be checking for other warrants as well.

1 You should have strapped up
#2 Be a man and pay your sh*t #3 Yes, they will run a check on you because searches are ran by your Driver's license # or your Social Security #, which they will have to confirm. Therefore, yes you will be taken into custody. #4 Don't go to the DMV, until this thing clears There are officers that work there. |

Yes, and so will any other government department. You're going to have to live completely off the grid if you want to stay clear of that. Come on, man, do us all a favor and be a father...

Why are there arrears? If there is a legitimate reason, such as unemployment, the obligor can still file for a reduction in them. Most Child Support obligors do not know there is free help from the state, by federal law, to obtain a modification. At the minimum, a motion should be filed to have any interest penalties set aside, which can double or triple the amount owed. Of the total media “reported†amount of child support owed, 83% if interest penalties and not unpaid child support. These links will teach what needs to be known about child support.
