Is it just my browser? Or does facebook now force everyone to make facebook a homepage?

Facebook page won't load. There's a bar at the top promting to make facebook a homepage. I just close the bar, and the facebook page won't load at all after that. Are they forcing everyone to make it a homepage now? Shouldn't we have a choice?

a couple times the "Make facebook your homepage" banner has been up, but facebook still loaded, and it went away after a while.

its not forced you must have missed a tick box that said "make facebook my homepage" (vista internet explorer 8) click the drop menu at the top right on the home buttonthen set homepage and you enter the URL
