Does it cost to have facebook notifications sent to my phone?

Hey im on a phone contract with Virgin, i get 5000 texts a month, 1gb of internet. Will it cost me to recieve facebook notifications?? cheers!

And you have 5000 text per moth too! However if you use internet it'll cost if you exceed 1gb of give data slot

It will count toward your 1Gb data plan usage, unless connected via wi-fi.

Actually it depend on your arangement with your service provider. Many have limited texting plans unless you have unlimited texting or pre-purchase certin amounts. I have Verizon and I pre-purchase 500 Text Messages a month for a flat amount.

When your phone connects to Facebook to get the notifications it will slightly add on to your data usage. Very minimal but it will.
