I think I may need to remove these especially one that already has a girlfriend so why does he want to be on my facebook whats your thoughts do you accept friend requests from ex boyfriends?

It depends. If you parted on equal terms and are still friends, then yes. If it was a bad break-up and you think it'll do more harm than good to get re-involved with them, then no.
