Annoying when a close friend gets a ton of likes on Facebook?

I've got a close friend (Let's call him......Fred). Fred gets a ton of likes on many of his Facebook statuses. He got 50+ for a recent status about going back to school, and 70+ recently for returning to work. It really annoys me for some reason. Is this normal? And what can I do to get over it?

Don't worry about it. That's just jealousy and we all experiance it from time to time. Just try not to get into an argument with Fred.

Is it normal? Unfortunately in this day and age, it is. But it SHOULDNT be.
What can you do to get over it? Easy....stop caring so much what people do on Facebook. Its really that simple. Stop logging on to FB for a week...oh the horror, i know. But you wont have to worry about such trivial crap as how many "likes" your friend gets.

Truth is you are just jealous of him , I have many "friends" like you . The pretend to be your friend but secretly are jealous of you and don't want the best for you ,

Everyone gets jealous from time to time. It's nothing to worry about. Just don't get into an argument with your friend.

I suppose it's nothing but jealousy. Nothing really important, just kind of annoying from times to times. Just try not to have an argument with Fred. Oh, and remember, Likes don't really mean a lot.
