it's not official until you change your relationship status on facebook. (i thought it was so funny when i first heard that) the guy usually waits for the girl to do it. it's more in the girl's department. do it whenever.

dappends how old you are if you 18 or under i would say right away is fine, if your over 18 maybe give it till you have at least been on a date or two.
