How to switch off quiz results on facebook?
All my friends are just crazy about them. They do them all the time and my News Feed is flooded with them. I do not even see anything else. Is there any chance I can switch of quizes in general on facebook?
Thx Smile

Move your mouse pointer to the top right corner of the News Feed announcement. A "Hide" will come up. It will show "Hide {person's name}" or "Hide {application's name}." Click the second and that announcement will go away. Smile

YES!!! There is a way to block the spammy quizzes!!! Please read to the end, and I'll show you how to do it!!!

Facebook doesn't have decent filtering for this. You can block a friend, but, that would block everything from that friend, you can block an application, but, each different quiz counts as a separate application - and who would take the same quiz twice.

However, you CAN block quizzes from your news feed!!!!

Here's how to do it...

Firstly, it only works in Firefox. Internet Explorer does not have this feature.

If you do not have Firefox already, you can get it for free here: http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/

Once you have firefox, you need a Firefox add-on called GREASEMONKEY.

You can get that here : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748

Click on 'Add To Firefox'.
When it's installed, close Firefox down and then re-start it.

Finally, you need a script called 'QUIZ-BE-GONE'.
You can get that here : http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/45892

Click 'Install'.

That's it!!! You may need to restart Firefox one more time for it to take effect.

Just click on hide button from where you are receiving news feeds. So next time it won't show from that person.
