How do I get a girlfriend in highschool?

I'm going into my junior year, and I'm not very popular. I'm good at making people laugh, and girls have told me on more than one occasion that I'm funny, but I'm still a little awkward around them. I recently made a facebook and have about 80 friends so far. More than half of them are girls. I'd like to start talking to some of them, but I have no idea how. I'd like to get to know a girl and become close her, but I have no idea how. What should I do?

Start about asking whats up, wether they are doing something exciting or just relaxing at home during summer. Talk about things happening at school, or something different...

first, u gotta know urself, if tryin' to be urself (& i also mean that u will always have to give ur best self [includin' physical appearance).

then u need courage, confidence, & a plan to get to da next level (get recommendations from ur family & friends as soon as possible, & choose what u think r da correct answers [sometimes they may give u bad information, that u get to know w/ experience, but there's nothin' to loose).

so start movin' ur pieces as soon as possible, before it's too late!
