Is the fact that Paris Hilton has used the same excuse going to help or hurt her case in Nevada?

She said the same thing in south Africa when she was caught with marijuana and then again not more than three weeks later in Europe. To me she is showing a pattern. That may start a trend of it wasn't mine defense.
Even though this isn't a major crime it should still be prosecuted by one of the best that Nevada has to offer as it will gain them more publicity and help the state in curtailing the ongoing illicit drug problem.

Both she and OJ messed up when they committed felonies in an old west state. They thought that their celebrity would protect them. In no way am I trying to compare OJ to Paris but only talking about celebrity and the hazards that go with it.

Does anyone not think she is doing this on purpose to get back in the media (since it seemed lately like he 15 minutes were about up?).She saw the publicity Lindsey was getting so she wanted it to.The problem is it may have backfired and she may end up in some actual trouble??? Chelsea Handler made the same assumption the other night on her show.I think she thought once again her money and it probaly will get her out of trouble.
