So, how does everyone feel about no hockey being pushed back to November 30th?

I got in my Jeep after class today, looked at the notification on my phone and flipped.

My parents and brother think that it's hillarious. My brother says "If you're having ref problems I feel bad for you son, we got 88 games and we ain't playing one!" then one day during class I was texting my Mom that on Twitter, "Isles" "Brooklyn" "Islanders" and "Long Island" were trending, and that they would move to Brooklyn in 2015. My Mom shoots back with "yeah, if they even play by then!"

Does anyone else feel tormented by others because of the faults of Bettman and Fehr? Not to mention the players are so greedy, they already get a larger % than any of the other major sports leagues.

With the NHL out of commission probably for the year, it gives me an opportunity to go watch AHL or CHL games either in person or on the tube. Let the NHL work out their ego problems and when it comes back, I'll pick up where we all left off. I personally think they're just hurting themselves but to each their own.....

No one will talk to me about the lockout because they are afraid I'll freak out about it. In all honesty, I'm being considerably calm but I hate Bettman more that you would believe. I want the NHL back. I need something to look forward to at night and a reason to get my homework done before 7. Another thing, it's Bettman and the owners being the pain in the butt. They locked out the players. They turned down three deals in 10 minutes. They aren't negotiating. I shouldn't have to mention this but do you notice that football makes more money than hockey and hockey is harder than football? A lot of football players get to sign for more than NHL players. The players also agreed on 50/50. The rest of the deal sucked. I take it you don't actually read into the deals before you think you can criticize them?

When this ends I hope every fan boycotts their team's home opener. The NHL needs to be sent a message the fans are fed up. If you are an NHL fan and not fed up then please tell me why.
