Does Yahoo manipulate the 'Trending Now' on the upper right hand portion of its homepage?
Companies tend to manipulate statistics for advertisement purposes; or perhaps to make its sponsors or anybody that they want to support look hot and in.

Yes they do, they think Everyone is interested in whose on Twitter and what is going on with them. It's ridiculous.
