How can I find out who my biological parents are?
Both my sister and I were adopted at birth. Even though I love my mother and sister very much I want to know who my real parents are and why they gave me up. I can swear I saw a man who looked exactly like I do before-same face and he was tall and had a muscular frame like I do.

If you have their name, you can look on facebook. Also you can google their names in case they work and they are on the Internet site of their employer, or self-employed, etc....

Also, look at the answer to this question

Good luck!

I would start by asking your parents. They are the ones who adopted you. However, I think most parents make their children wait until they are 18, before giving out any vital information.

The agency who dealt with your adoption should have your file which will hold the details of your birth parents. I don't know if your old enough to receive this information, so if not, ask your adoptive parents what they were told about your life before they adopted you.
Some parents who give their children away, don't want to be found so bear in mind that it may not be a grand reunion - they gave u away for a reason.

i found my mum and dad through ancestry sites- used mums first name only and birth date to find her surname, and marriage records. that gives you a location etc.
Then used that info on social sites such as facebook, myspace, bebo, friedsreunited etc.

Also try using telephone books/ online lists, hospital records of your birth etc.

I know its a frustrating time, but be sensible and try to stay calm about it and it'll all fall into place. My mum actually gave me hints in letters, and then helped me find dad when id found her.

Try to keep meeting/ talking online almost casual to start with- too much emotion can overwhelm a situation and almost ruin it..

Good Luck lovely!!
