Why do WWE think promoting Twitter will boost ratings?
Do they not get that the ratinggs have dropped because of their PG rating?

WWE aren't promoting Twitter, they're promoting themselves on Twitter, because that means by using it and getting enough fans using it and following them,Twitter might sponsor an event or PPV.

Twitter is the centre of all things evil....... I mean, of all things worldwide and gives us a reason to type something that happened in our lifes. How WWE work is by constantly plugging Twitter so that they get something trending because if it's trending, the more casual fans will tune in just to see what made 'Barrett Barrage' trend and gain more ratings but people see through it and don't tune into RAW because of something else being better on another channel

Because twitter has so many followers and everyone is starting to get on it, it helps build popularity and keeps people tuned in
