can someone please explain to me zayn and his DMing on twitter?

I've been seeing a lot of pictures of him with captions saying i'll dm you later. and in stories and stuff when zayn speaks he says 'wait i need to dm these sexy people' or whatever. so i was wondering like why zayn is know for dming people, like niall is know to eat etc. thanks!

ok...so basically,a while back,this guy on twitter (there were rumours before this too) started saying that zayn added 'pretty' girls on twitter so he could DM them later to meet up and have sex...apparently he 'had proof'....these rumours went all around twitter...but again..they're rumours
zayn even tweeted that:

'People make me laugh man ! sat here laughing at how crazy and deluded some people are ! x'

the same time these rumours were on twitter

so yeh..that's where all this started
