Help! complicaed essay topic?

So my english professor gave us the most random essay topic combination ever! i'll post the question can some one please help clarify what eactly she wants i have a semi idea but not to sure.Write an essay explaining how modern technological conveniences such as cell phones, email, text messaging, and/or social media (for example, Facebook, Twitter) affect your ability to set boundaries. You will probably want to limit the number of technological conveniences you write about so that you can be detailed and specific in your writing. (Heres the topic)

basically write about how technology today doesn't allow you to set boundaries as you would in real life for example, people can try to convince you to post something on facebook, and since it's not in person that you are talking to that person, you have a harder time setting boundaries.

By "boundaries" your professor would mean the ability to choose what content goes up on social media, with cell phones etc. For example, people can use Facebook to talk to strangers, and send them an inappropriate photo. The sender might have thought, at the time, that it would be okay because you don't see the stranger. That's an example of choosing to do something you wouldn't normally do.
Another example is cell phones - someone sends their friend a text message, but they don't know how it will make their friend feel. They can't see their friend's expression. In a way, the phone limits them from making the right decision as to whether or not they should send the message.
