Facebook How can I completely remove my account?

I know how to de-activate but how can I completely delete my account from facebook? I've been searching in 'Facebook for Dummies' but it doesn't seem to explain how to do it. Thank you.

Make sure that after you follow any permanent deletion links and you do it, that you don't sign in at all for two weeks. The minute you do that, the account will be reactivated.

Deleting Facebook was the best move I ever made.

After you deactivate/delete your account this means your account no longer exist in Facebook. Your page will never be seen even by your friends. So after you delete it, don't sign in anymore. Rest assured that your account is no longer in Facebook.

Click on settings and look for Account Deactivate.Click on it then your account will be deactivated.Make sure you do not login again for the next two weeks,by the third week you account would no longer exist.

TO REMOVE COMPLETELY YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT, FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS:

1) Copy the following link:

2) Then with your facebook opened, paste it into the url gap above, then a page will appear in which you have to click on the botton that says ''accept''. After so, you accept it by putting your password and the captcha, and done!

Note: Your account will stay de-activated for 14 days, then your account will be completely deleted forever. You only have 14 days to regret before your account is permantely deleted.
