Is "I don't have Facebook" the modern way of saying "I don't have a or watch Television"?
I was wondering because my buddy Andrew told some girls he met at a bar that he doesn't use Facebook or Twitter and I swear the girls started talking about him like he was a caveman! They were so freaking mean. Finally we ditched the girls and went home with a couple of cougars but still I had to wonder about had happened!

I don't use facebook either. It's just pointless to me.
I hang out with all my friends in real life, and I email my family in Slovakia. What do I need facebook for? to play farmville? post stupid comments about what I'm doing? |

No. That doesn't even make sense to say facebook is equal to television or a --( you didn't say).
This is a stupid question. I'm not going to waste my finger strength typing the answer. |

No. Television is a completely different thing. Some people don't have facebook for privacy reasons.

No, but I think certain people assume that you are not technologically savvy. I choose not to have Facebook or Twitter because I get sick of random people hunting me down. And before you think I'm paranoid, I'm fairly certain that 2 professors have already e-stalked me.
