Why won't my youtube videos get a lot of views?

My friend and I have a channel on youtube a d we make quality videos and we make videos regularly but we don't get a lot of views. Can anyone help?

i know but i will not tell, because its a competition , if your videos has much views than u will get more money, so to avoid i will not tell

The problem is your not doing anything to bring awareness to your channel, you need to promote your videos. Doing that means

1 using good tags so people can find your videos
2 making use of social networking sites like twitter and facebook
3 subscribing commenting and following other people on youtube to build contacts
4 posting videos on a regular basis
5 following trends

Its not an overnight process as well it takes time and effort and if your serious about getting views on Youtube
