no i put lowlights through my hair with it, alot of hairdyes burn my scalp really bad but this one doesnt burn and its a really nice colour, i suggest u mix a little bit and put a little bit behind your ear and put a plaster over it, lease it for 24 hours if no reaction you will be fine and ready to have a lovely colour on your hair Smile

I've had an allergic reaction to Live Colour XXL before, it really stung and hurt a lot.
If you mean you're worried the colour will come out wrong, then that shouldn't be a problem, just re-dye it with semi-permanent.

Next time, phrase the question better. What do you mean by 'bad reaction'?

Hi April

Are you are worried about having an allergic reaction to the hair dye? If you perform the skin sensitivity test 48 hours in advance and do not have a reaction then you can apply the colourant to your hair. It is important to do a skin test every time you use a hair colour, even if you have used the product before, as allergies can appear at any time.

If you are worried about how the actual colour will turn out, then try performing a strand test before you colour all of your hair. Simply use half a teaspoon of colour creme and half a teaspoon of the developer, then mix together in a saucer (or any other non metallic container). Apply this mixture to a strand of hair and leave to develop as described in the instruction leaflet. At the end of the development time, just wipe or rinse the dye off to see the colour result.
