TWITTER FANS HELP ME PLEASE?
i just got a twitter account and i have a few questions ok
1st Q: if you follow someone and you reply their tweet can they see it???
2nd Q: whats the purpose of retweeting ???
if you can help me please do and if you have any other advice for me on twitter feel free to include it in your answer thanx again Big Grin

Q1: Yes, they can see it. There's a section where you can look at a list of all the people who are following you and also who you're following. And if you reply to someone's tweet, you type the "@" symbol, followed by their username (without any spaces). You also do this when you want to send a tweet to a specific person. For example, my username is "thisisme36", so if you were to reply or say something to me on twitter, you would type in: @thisisme36 and then type whatever you wanted to say. You also don't have to be following someone to send a reply or retweet them.

Q2: The purpose of retweeting is so that more people can see that tweet. So if you see a tweet that you want to retweet, you'll be asked if you want to retweet to all of your followers (meaning that they will see this tweet even if they're not following that person).

And if you don't know what the "trending topics" are on Twitter, they're just topics that a lot of people are tweeting about. If you want to start a new trending topic, or if you just want to contribute to a topic, you create a "hash tag", by typing the # symbol, followed by the name of the topic (without any spaces), and then type your message.
