What are some social trends in todays society?
Can anyone give me an example of a social trend,particular institution,group,person or policy that could be considered dangerous or "just plain wrong"?

Car Surfing, taking photos under girls/women's skirts with camera phones. The WHORE look, still being pushed by Hollyweird: Beyonce, GaGa, Rhianna, Ciara, B Spears, XXXtina, etc...

The obsession with technology is becoming dangerous. I think YouTube and iPhones are marvelous inventions and great steps forward for technology, but people writing about everything they do on Twitter, simply to get some kind of reaction from people on the Internet, and driving down the road while "texting," is a dangerous trend. It's making people content to do nothing with their lives, and get the same stimulation that accomplished people get -- the stimulation that comes from recognition -- without actually accomplishing anything. I think it's dangerous.
