I am just beginning to discover thru facebook many of my paternal relatives, but I don't know what they are called. 2nd cousins, 3rd cousins, etc. There must be a chart of some kind , some where to tell how we related. Like when we are descended from the same Great grands at various generations, how do I find out what they are, what type of cousin I guess ? Thanks

Yeah, depending on the relationship, you can figure out the numberth of cousin. If your parents are siblings, you are first cousins. If your parent is his aunt/uncle, then you are second cousins. If your parents were first cousins, you are third cousins...and you just keep on counting.
