how do i do direct messages with my phone ?

soo i set twitter to send tweets & direct messages to my phone in a text message . i know how to tweet people back just put @andtherename , but i dont know how to send a direct message . so can someone please tell me exactly how and exactly what i put ?

if the user handle is @twittername

D twittername then ur message

There is the Messages or Direct Messages option on the left corner, just click it and click create new. and send to the person. I hope I helped :T
