Why are people so disrespectful?
Two trending topics on Twitter at the moment are #SignsYoSonIsGay and #HowToTurnDownAUglyPerson.

Apart from both those topics being grammatically incorrect, they are viciously prejudiced.

I mean, so what if someone is a homosexual? That's their choice, and you should respect it.
And so what if someone who likes you is ugly? Why do looks even matter that much?

I'm so done with all this crap. Why are so many people (and I mean literally thousands, just search either of those tags on Twitter for proof) such disrespectful twits?
@Jamie
I don't think discrimination against other people is something that should be ignored. Anyway, I can't ignore it.

Its because parents aren't allowed to diciplin their damn kids anymore without getting put in jail, and schools teach em how to get their way no matter what and thinking everything is easy instead of learning what its like to suck at something and lose at a game... making spoiled brat sissies out of a few generations here...

Obviously they never learned Fromm their parents how to be respectful and not to judge and most out them are putting there own flaws and insecurities on other ppl because they are not comfortable in their own skin. Gays are the proudest to be themselves and ppl that are not pick on other ppl because they wish they could have their qualities. And also a again parents aren't playing their part with treaching morals and that uniqueness is a good thing. Trust me I hate it too, ppl are too judgmental!

Settle down. If something offends you, you have the right to ignore it. You do not have the right not to be offended.

edit: Are they actually discriminating against anyone, or are they just voicing their biggoted opinions? There's a difference. Free speech, even incorrect or outright hateful speech is more important than your feelings.

Your right, there are a lot of dis respectful selfish, self centered people in this world. Why? I don't know? Just try and avoid them as best you can, although I know you sometimes have to deal with them. The only thing I must disagree with you about is when you said ''so what if someone is homosexual? That's their choice''. No, homosexuality is NOT a choice. Please understand that. As a gay man I of course know that. I just really wish I could somehow make people understand.
