"Websites" are not the important issue. Educating yourself first is vital. Do some basic reading first.

Tread this path very carefully. otherwise it will burn you. You ought to have a basic knowledge froma reputed and reliable person or organization before entering the field, lest you loose unimaginative proportion of your invested money.

The best way to get started is to read some books about the stock market, technical analysis and fundamental analysis. Technical analysis is a way to predict the stock price base on past performance and you will profit when you find the right stocks to trade. You will hold your stocks anywhere from 5 minutes to a few weeks. Fundamental analysis is a way to study the fundamental of a company and buy stocks and hold for many years and you get profit when the company is doing well.

Here are some good books to start with
1. trading for a living
2. high probability trading
3. technical analysis of the financial trend.

Check out http://www.stocial.com. You can practice picking stocks (virtually), and win real cash.

Additionally, they assess real-time social chatter to provide market insights and help users identify trending stocks. You can see News feeds and social chatter (Twitter, blog posts) as well, all personalized for you based on your Watchlist of stocks.

There is also a social component to the site, you can ask questions, share your thoughts, and see what others are picking.

You may have to request an invite as they are still in Beta. Typically, they provided access within a couple days.

Here is a great site for stock analysis. It's a video blog with explanations as to why stocks are doing what they are. Will give you a good foundation and some good things to look at when you start out.
