Is a Twitter feed posted on my blog worth it?
I have a blog on fantasy football and I was thinking about adding a Twitter feed to and from the blog. So, on my blog I would have what was said on Twitter and then I would auto post the blog posts to Twitter as well. Do you think that I will see a lot more traffic if I do this? Is it really worth it?

I have been following this internet marketing guy named Matt Bacak (http://www.mattbacak.com) for the past couple of months, and he has talked a bit about social media and Twitter. This guy is a millionaire and he is only like 30 years old. (Sadly I am way past my 30's and would love to be a millionaire).

I was very surprised when he said that if you are looking to make money from social media it may surprise you at how little you will actually make from things like promoting on Twitter. Everywhere you look, everybody is saying social media this, social media that.

Anyways, if you are looking for more traffic to your blog and not necessarily more money than yes, it probably will help increase traffic to have a Twitter feed. If you are looking to make more money off your blog, then you may want to stick to other marketing techniques instead.

Also, you have to look at this way, if you want the Twitter feed on your blog, how much time is it really going to take to install a plug-in and get started? Probably not that much time, but if you seem not to be able to keep up with your blog, promoting it, and Twitter as well, then my advice would be to drop Twitter. Hope this helps and good luck man!
