you lose all your followers and all of your info is deleted for good, you also unfollow all your current following contacts - everything you ever entered is deleted

When you delete your twitter account, you lost access to the network and there is no chance for you to get your twitter followers back. If you don't want to lose this things while taking some break, I suggest you to just deactivate your account and activate before the given duration ends. Usually twitter will give you 30 days to activate your account.
