How to get rid of twitter spam?
Twitter is direct messaging my followers links, and tweeting "Want to slim down" with a link and stuff like that.
How can I stop it?
Thanks! (:

The best thing you can do is go to the spam account's profile and report them for spam.

There will always be spam, you just have to put up with it. But reporting it helps Twitter keep the amount down.

In your twitter account settings check the application that you have given access to integrate.
Revoke access or remove such applications that would work or share anything on behalf of you.
Change the sharing preferences and notifications to get rid of spam.

They can send your message if you don't follow them
so unfollow them!

Good LUCK

Being selective about the people you follow is not sufficient, you must also be selective about the people who follow you and have access to your tweets. Have a look at the list of people who follow you and if a particular profile raises suspicions in your mind, then block that person. To block a person just go to their Twitter profile, click the gear icon and select the “Block” option from the actions drop-down menu. You can also choose the “Report Spammer for Spam” option to block the person from following you and let Twitter’s Trust and Safety Team know about the spammer.
I hope this info help you.
