What is the best solution to ending poverty?

we need to study holland and understand how the grant each citizen an annual entitlement of money. we need to seek the answer to why our leaders allow poverty to exist. maybe we need a combination of socialism, communism, capitalism and other systems which encompasses the best things from all different forms of govt.. we might just vote for more conscientious leaders. we might try to be good samaritans. we might try to solve this problem above all else. how about a law that says you must be homeless and hungry for at least a small amount of time so you could understand the pain.

None of these. Only solution is globalisation and high level of cross border investments and ending of oppreesive/ incomptent all powerful govts. that can promise removal of proverty that can be removed only by economic freedom to people including freedom of capital and trade flows.

Free markets, free trade, just rule of law.

All tempered by enlightened government intervention in markets to correct for negative externalities, especially unequal bargaining power between labor and management and the problems of frictional and cyclical unemployment.

A social safety network that provides support for people on the lower end of the income scale as well as incentives and support to help them pull themselves up.
