What are some other ways to come up with money for a baseball team and its needs for the season?

Me and my cousin have just founded a new baseball team in a semi-pro league and will need about 5000 dollars to start up the team. now we are looking for sponsors but they are hard to come by. we have thrown out some ideas like keggers, maybe a texas hold em tournament where we keep a little profit for running it but we are still searching for more ideas.

Market the heck out of it. Do fundraisers and then get a Facebook page and Twitter page up and running. Think out of the box as far as fundraising goes. Auction off the players for dates, have them wash cars, do anything that you can think off to raise capital.
