I tried to look at your website, but it appears to be down....

But here's a couple of things to consider:

1) Use meta-tags
(If you do not know what these are then do a google search for "how to use meta-tags")

2) Email webmasters of other skateboard sites and ask to do a link exchange with them.

3) Register you website on the google directory here:

Adam,

A bit of feedback on your site... the red font is tough to read and the Adsense positioning is instrusive. Try getting a wordpress blog. They are free or get a free or cheap template.

You know who you want to visit your site, right? People who want to learn tricks, or buy parts or shoes, etc. Now you need to find those people.

Google has upgraded their tools. I use tools like the Wonderwheel to discover how visitors find my keywords. I then find the most expensive and most competitive keywords in my niche. Some are paying $9 per click in my niches. Do you think $9 per click traffic converts? You bet. I let Google tell me where the traffic is coming from. It comes right to my email inbox. Then I go steal the traffic. Sweet.
And it's free.

Google literally knows where your customers are hanging out and is happy to tell yo where they are! For example, if someone is searching for "what are the best skateboarding shoes?", Google sends you an email that someone just asked that question and then takes you to that person. Way cool. Targeted, free traffic delivered to your gmail account.

You need to sort the site out - others have commented, but the bottom line is even if you manage to attract people to visit your site it is unlikely to hold their attention. So consider the design carefully, make it simple and easy to use because....

....the most cost effective way of marketing your business is to develop word of mouth.

People need a reason to come back to your site and pass the URL on. So use a blog to create regular, fresh content for people to come back to. Something like Blogger is good enough.

Each blog post needs to be easy to share. I'm sure you've seen those "Share" links on the bottom of pages that allows you to tell people on Facebook, Linkedin, diggit and so on about your site. They're easy to set up and can be embedded quite simply into your site.

Get out there as well, get onto Twitter and tell people when you've updated your site, same with Facebook, Myspace, Bebo and whatever else you can think of. Be wary of being a little too "in your face" about the updates though - you may end up being labelled a spammer - and remember to give a little back with retweeting and links to other interesting sites and articles that you might come across.

The most important thing, though, is to have some patience. It is going to take a few months for your site to start building that critical mass that means repeat visitors. When that happens you should start to see the cash coming in. But for now, be patient, keep plugging away.
