how do i make a profile picture for my twitter account?

Twitter is more fun when you customize your profile. You can change your image in the "Profile" tab on the fifth tab of your account settings. Your image can be up to 700k in the following formats JPG, GIF, PNG. (Twitter no longer supports animated gifs.)

How to change your picture:

1. Log in to http://www.twitter.com
2. In the top of the navigation bar click Settings.
3. Click on Profile on the fifth tab of you navigation bar.
4. Click on Change Image along with the profile picture.
5. You'll see the Choose File button. Click this button to choose which file to load.
6. After selecting the file, click Save at the bottom of the page. (See image below).

Note: The thumbnail image chosen will only appear when you click "Save."
