Why headquarters of most of the sites in the world are in California?
Most of the famous sites like Twitter
Twitter
Google
Yahoo
Hotmail
Friendster
Facebook
Youtube
Myspace
bebo,Formspring etc. have their headquarters in California.Why is it so? and are there any sites which do not have their headquarters in California,but in any other place?

The state is called as sillicon valley which produces largest number of chips in the world market and subsequently all the IT majors have their base in CA. Also the climatic condition is also awesome which adds more reason for the major company's headquarters in US

Because they were usually founded in there. Also, California has the fastest internet connections in the world...
