What is the best phone around at the moment?

I'm looking around for a new phone and I'm a little overwhelmed trying to consider all the options, I would like a phone with Wi Fi but that's the only real preference I have.
Maybe something other than iPhone as well, although I do like them something a bit different would be cool

Well it depends, Iphone has literally everything (internet, WiFi, camera, phone, ipod built in, lots of neat apps, etc) but it is touch screen, if you do not like touch screen then i recommend you go with a Blackberry

Iphone 3G is 99 dollars but IPhone 3GS is 199 dollars because its a new model but they both are the same.

Blackberrys might be a bit more expensive but they were the 2nd best phones out there

I personally prefer HTC or blackberry - The HTC Hero, HD2, Tattoo or touch2 and Blackberry Storm2 9520 or Bold 9700. I currently have the HTC Hero which is great, its touch screen may not be as responsive as an iphone but it is very customizable and links very well to facebook and twitter etc. It has a large 'market' where applications can be downloaded like an iphone and has all the key features such as GPS, accelerometer, QWERTY keyboard, Wi-fi and is very well built.

The only thing to let it down is the camera which doesn't have a flash. The fact you can link all of your contacts to their facebook account is great too and copies their picture to their contact picture (which is automatically updated when connected to the internet). It also allows you to view contacts updates and photos within the contacts area without going onto facebook. A new firmware update makes the touch screen much more responsive and the phone much faster too.
