How do i delete a twitter account?

Cos, you know, twitter is pretty pooptastic.

go to setting and deactive your account

Log in to your Twitter account with your username and password.

Locate the "Settings" section. This is located in the top right hand corner of the screen. It is the fourth option from the left. Select "Settings" to go to your account management page.

Click the "Deactivate my account" link. You'll find this option at the bottom of the account management page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Look to the left hand bottom corner of the screen to click it.

You will now reach a different page that asks you to confirm the deletion. Confirm the deletion. Select the "Okay, Fine Deactivate My Account" button. Clicking on this will disable your account.

To deactivate your account:

1. Log in to Twitter
2. Click Settings
3. Click 'deactivate my account' at the bottom of the page
4. Enter your password when prompted. (Without the correct account password, you will not be able to deactivate an account.)
5. Verify that you really want to do it and voila, it's done.
