How do you set your profile to private on Twitter?
And if you change your name to something that isn't your actual name will people you don't want finding you, find you? Even if you block them? Because this girl I blocked somehow printed out what I was posting and showed it to the principle? And I want my profile to be private so she can't see it at all and no one else can that im not following.

Hello, you can set your profile to private. when you create an account, you can go to settings and in the bottom you can check protect my updates. This way only people who follow you would read your updates.
One great thing about twitter is that is can be a one way street. You can only listen to conversations by follow interesting people and search.twitter.com. I follow people from my industry (marketing) and I am getting a free, update to date education. Hope it helps. Ads |

When you log in your Twitter you can edit your preferences and settings there. You should do two things:
1.) make your tweets private http://twitter.com/settings/account "protect my tweets" 2.) set your Privacy so nobody can "find" you by email untick "Let others find me by my email address " also at http://twitter.com/settings/account http://twitter.com/settings/account |
