How do you get private sponsors for tweets and/or blogs?

Well, my friend gets paid to run a blog (and tweet apparently) and he gets by just fine without a normal job, and I didn't want to be a nuisance and interrogate him about his lifestyle. Does anyone have any idea how I can get started on this kind of thing? I already have an account with SponsoredTweets.com but I've been doing that for months and I only just reached $13, so that isn't going to do it.

basically you should create your own social media shop and specialise in blogging. You will need to create profiles across social media and create a portfolio for yourself so that people in advertising can know your level of skill by browsing your posts.

You can make money by contacting digital marketing ad agencies and asking for social media projects or SEO projects (social media optimization). Maybe do a project for free so they know what you can deliver and then make your money.

You should be able to charge $1000/mth for just a twitter activation.
