I have posted it on facebook, craigslist and they give you a website. I printed off flyers however not sure if that is a good idea to go walking around the neighborhood putting them in people's mailboxes. I also have business cards made up that I am going to place in some business. If you can give me any other advice I would be so grateful!

Hello Nicole!

Meet Mark are great cosmetic products. I'm sure it would attract more and more customers as it becomes more popular in the cosmetics industry. You've started on the right foot: Facebook is a great way to introduce a new product in the market. Craigslist works fine as well. All you have to do is to keep on updating friends about the cosmetics you are selling. Whether you are using your personal account to promote it or you have created a fan page for your business, it would be best to tag people's names in the pictures of the products you sell. For example, you think a new tint of lip gloss will look good on your best friend. Why not tag her in a photo of that lip gloss and let her and her other friends see it the next time they log on to the FB accounts. This viral marketing strategy will help you get more customers to buy from your business. It will also increase you customer base as you are not only targeting your friends but your friend's friends as well. Thereby, you are also utilizing the network of the people you know.

If I may suggest, since cosmetics are largely about the colors and the quality of the beauty products being sold, make sure that you are uploading new photos every now and then. Post pictures of the products, the different tints of blush ons and lip tints, how it looks when applied on women's faces. Create synergy and use various media in promoting your product. Post YouTube videos of make-up tutorials in your Facebook page. You could also promote your YouTube videos and Facebook page via Twitter. The possibilities of online promotion are endless. And the best part is, you're not even compelled to spend a single centavo for these very effective marketing and advertising campaigns.

I hope I was able to help you with this answer. More power and success to your business!
