Free versions: article marketing, you can use facebook, twitter or sites like that. you can spread the word through your email list. You can also use forums in that particular niche. Just type in social networking followed by forums in the google search.

Paid versions: PPC with adwords or yahoo or even msn if you have a budget. Or you can have banners made then put then pay to have them put on other sites or do banner exchange.

A free way to increase traffic without spending a dime in advertising is to join other social network .Badoo counts fortysix million people.Join them and tell them about your social networking site.
