A leftest could be construed as someone who subscribes to Marxism/Leninism, or the Communist Manifesto.

It can also be construed as someone who have very liberal views on most things human, social, and global, as it relates to human activities!

I find it easier in America to define things by their opposites.. since that is how everyone seems to think of them.

So a "Leftist" is anyone who isn't conservative.
