What major contributions to American society have Conservatives made?
Minimum wage - brought by progressives.
End of slavery - brought by progressive republicans
civil rights - progressives.
equal voting rights for women - progressives
u.s. involvement in world war 2 and world war one - progressives
social security - progressives
medicare - progressive
FDA - progressives
income tax - progressives

Most of these things are viewed positively by the majority of Americans and we all brought by progressives. Conservatism, in my opinion, can be credited for defeating the Soviet Union, protection of the second amendment, and retaining a relatively free market, but not much else.

You see income tax as an accomplishment? It's not even legal as it was never ratified by all the states and it was supposed to end with WWI...

lol.......

You failed to mention that progressives also helped create the Federal Reserve. Which has systematically devalued the dollar for nearly 100 years all while raping the working class for the benefit of the banking class.

Ironically, most of those programs (SS, Medicare etc.) couldn't exist without the ability to print money out of thin air. I mean Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid have over $30 trillion in unfunded liabilities. The income tax ain't gonna cover that....

Wow.

You really need to... lift your head out of the liberal toilet bowl. Its sucking out your ability to think for yourself.

Ultimately if progressives had their way, the U.S. would never exist. In looking at your examples, I guess we need to see your definition of a progressive. Seems you might be a bit confused.

Minimum wage= destructive to entry level jobs
Social security = pot for politicians to steal from
Medicare= same as social security and not as good as private coverage
Income tax= redistribution of wealth, the central point of jealousy and class warfare, the engine of an ever oppressive growing government
FDA= completely unnecessary

End of slavery, women's rights were good and conservatives all agree , involvement in ww2 is debatable though

Defeating the soviet unions seizing of other nations was good. Protection of the second amendment is good although conservatives haven't been strong enough to protect it completely, a free market is bad when we enter it with a third world nation we always come out the looser in the form of jobs, the republicans and the democrats need to realize that. Free markets with countries with similar currency policies, wages, and labor policies is good but china doesn't qualify under any of this we need to cut them off and get our jobs back here.

ALMOST NONE of the things on your list have made a positive impact on America. To the contrary, they have DESTROYED this country!
