Can the wwe/tna stop advertising twitter in their storylines?
with tna/wwe advertising twitter in their storylines this makes wrestling even more fake then it really is. i love it back when wwe/tna didn't use twitter to enhance their storylines. can't they get it through their heads nobody uses twitter?

The WWE is evolving with technology. Some people were saying the same stuff but about WWE.com when it first was promoted. For your luck, They won't stop anytime soon because they already know that they can gain exposure and fans on Twitter.

Tons of uses WWE and TNA are making out of Twitter, if you didn't notice, most of the fans and revenues they get off Twitter are phenomenal, now I agree, who the hell cares about social media sites on a wrestling show, but if you notice the fans and more importantly the "supporters" they get from the site, its just phenomenal. Not only that, but modern technology allows more fans to stay connected to their favourite promotions on the go. We already know teenagers these days make social media a vital part of their life, WWE and TNA and other companies are merely tapping into that addiction and using it to fuel business.

I doubt it "enhances" storylines, on the contrary, it makes them more cheesy. Twitter is the second most used social site next to Facebook. Millions (almost all celelbrities) use Twitter. I'm sure twitter also pays WWE, because in a sense, WWE is advertising Twitter, thus Twitter gets thousands of new members every day.

They should concentrate on their product, not social media.

Unfortunately, twitter is paying both the WWE and TNA a lot of money so no they will not be stopping anytime soon. WWE says Trending like John Cena Trending Now but at least TNA uses it to interact with their fans. Either way I'm starting to get sick and tired of them mentioning it on their weekly wrestling shows.

Yeah i know,its really annoying.
On the other hand twitter really help's out wrestlers/diva/WWE out in marketing their "products",it also helps them build up more fans to their fan base, with all these "twitter trendying" more and more ppl join _twitter_ and browse on,look at th otherway WWE/TNA fans can actually tweet their favourite WWE/TNA superstar.
Technology is developing & their fans can talk to their favourite wrestlers.
twitter really builds up fight between some guys like cm punk and chris brown a "twitter fight".
