How to post things on someones twitter?

If I go on someones twitter they have a bunch of replys on it. I tried sending them a direct message but it says I can't because they don't follow me. I've tried a public reply with the @ symbol but they never answer. This person answers EVERY question people post. Why isn't mine going through? Am I doing something wrong?

You cant post on a persons Twitter you can only reply using @, so if you cant private message them or they don't reply try using the @ reply again. If they get a lot of Tweets they might not see all of them, That or they might just not want to reply.

If you've protected your tweets, your tweets will not show to that person. Unless they follow you, or someone with an unprotected account retweets you, your account will not send out @'s.

Otherwise, if your account is unlocked, they might be just ignoring you.

try following them first, they wont see the public twit cause its like finding a needle in a hay stack.
