What is the best way to get traffic for a new blog?
I started a new blog about a month ago and am having a lot of trouble getting traffic to it. It is http://www.experiencenewthings.com/blog
I am low on budget so free things would be ideal. Free traffic is hard to come by, is there any quality sites that let you put a link to your website on them for free? Ads |

There a few different methods you can use to increase traffic to your blog, but usually blogs made just for AdSense or other ad programs don't prosper that well. Below a few ideas that you can do more research into and see what might work best for you.
1. Search Engine Optimization of Web Pages 2. Social Media Marketing (myspace, facebook, etc) 3. Social Bookmarking Marketing (digg, reddit, etc) 4. Article Submission 5. PPC\CPM Advertising (This is hard to get a ROI) 6. Link Exchanges (Exchange links with sites directly related to yours, it can help provide some decent traffic since those visitors can actually find a use to your site.) Again, this is just a quick list of things for you research on, there are thousands of different methods in increase traffic to your blog. |

Take a look at http://www.seogodfather.com its a very effective tool. for newer websites on lower budgets.

You put other websites text ads on your page and yours appears on others. And it really is 100% free, forever. While it's not something that guarantees traffic it also doesn't cost anything, so why not try it? I got about 3000 hits my first month. Here are some of the things I use.
