Found an old friend online?
Okay I'm only 16 but a week ago I went looking online for a friend I had around 6/7 years old and I totally lost contact with because...well I don't know. I was down maybe, just cause she was fun back then maybe that's why I looked her up, I'm really not sure. The only problem is I kinda treated her not badly just kinda rudely in our last moments as friends but not deliberately, just we were both moving far away and new schools and just life got in the way and I always think back maybe I should've treated her better cause she was a close friend who helped me through very hard times (I know I said I was only 6/7 but believe me I mean horrific times).

So the point is I found her on tumblr, anonymously asked what her full name was to check it was her, and well it was. I looked over her blog and well she's changed a lot. She used to be a really shy book-worm kinda girl and now it appears she's well popular, party ready, rock loving, dyed hair and eye shadow...you get the picture. So what should I do now?

I'm worried if I message her I'll look either really creepy, a loser, or it'll just ruin the good memories I had with her, but at the same time I've always wanted to see her again as I regret not staying in contact (although perhaps it's more I've wanted to see the her I remember and have in my mind).
So do I message? She has links to Facebook and Twitter, would it be better to go through one of those? If I do message her what should I say? Please help??
Okay I just realised I accidently reblogged a post from her a week ago by accident, so she might of already seen my blog and know it's me. There's a slim chance, cause I use a shortened name and my profile pic is a little odd but still the slim chance is a chance none the less. However she wasn't the source post so I don't know if it would've appeared that I reblogged it from her :/

I've looked up friends from that time in my life. I'm 15. We both changed a lot, but we had fun remembering fun times. Try through Facebook, because it has more privacy. Don't say how much she has changed. Just say something along the lines of "Hey, looking up old friends. Do you remember the time when..."
Hoped this helped!
