How do i delete tweets on twitter?

I havent been on my twitter account and i was wondering how do i delete tweets on the account???

They don't go away. And you can't delete them. Remember this when you post anything on the internet. OK...

Just move your cusor over the tweet and then a trash bin icon will pop up and just click and it will ask you if you want to delete it and itll probably say it cant be deleted but just ignore that itll delete
