What is the best alternative to capitalism and communism (Marxism)?

What would be the best alternative to communism or unregulated capitalism? In my view , it would be social, free market democracy with a bare minimum safety net of basics only, less regulation on small business, and cooperative incentives on big business so that they must cooperate with at least one smaller business unless they be taxed heavily. Can anyone name some lesser known economic systems that may work well, or does anyone have an idea of what they think might work well?Is there any of governments they think a

Stop trying to your political stance in stone.
Adopt the principles from all sides and live you life how you want to.

I for example was born into a working class family and i appreciate both the consertive, labour and liberal views in life.
No ones got it cracked just yet .
