How do I stop tweets on twitter, in my name that I didn't do?

When I go to my twitter feed there's these tweets, supposedly by me, saying something about how much money I made from taking surveys! I've deleted them but they keep coming back. How can I block them? I went under "settings", "apps" but there's nothing there. Is there a way to block them? Thanks.

Sounds like you may have been hacked. Try changing your password, log off, then log back in with your new password (make sure it's a pretty strong one!). That should stop the tweets

Looks like someone has hacked your account.. Try changing your password. If it doesn't work, you have no choice but to do another tweeter account
