Really confused and need help. Does this guy sound sincere or like a player?

So I just started college and I have a class with this guy I have known of through some mutual friends for awhile. We started talking. Then exchanged Facebooks/Twitters. We recently just hung out, and he compliments me a lot and tells me I'm really cute and my outfits are really cute and what not.

He had a small get together with like 3 of his boys that he invited me to. I went with my friends, but we left as soon as like 94873 more boys showed up that his friends invited. As we were walking to my car, he ran after me cause he didn't want me to leave and he apologized up and down for me feeling uncomfortable.

We always tweet each other back and forth and he always playfully teases me on Twitter.
And he likes a lot of my photos on Facebook.

We've been texting. Monday we did like all morning and night, he started a deep conversation with me at night. He told me he was sad, so I asked what's wrong.....

He said he wants someone in his life.
I said me too, but it's so hard for me to trust guys after being cheated on so many times.
He said, oh really?
And I said, yes maybe someday some guy will prove me wrong.
Then he said, I don't want you to think all guys are bad.
And I said, I try, but it's kinda hard.
He said, I'm not a bad guy.
And I said, well I'm not a bad girl
He said, well maybe something will come of this
And I said, you never know til you try
And he said, we should probably hangout again?
And I said, hmm perhaps we should
And then he just sent a

THEN! A few days later, he asked me: What do you think of me?
I replied You're pretty cool
He said, Oh yeah?
I said, Yepp
He asked: Do you think I'm ugly?
I said, Nopeee
He said, then what do you think?
I say, I think you're a cutie
He replys,
I reply,
He says, We really need to hangout soon
I said, Yess we do, we will!
He says, Okay good

He's texts me often, but not like all through the day and night like how I would like a boyfriend to do. He sees me in the halls at school and stops to chat, and he playfully acted like he was gonna run me over in the parking lot today...and then tweeted about it.

Lately, he's been retweeting and favoriting pretty much EVERYTHING I tweet. And he alwayss replys to some of my tweets and will tweet at me and such. And when he sees a kind of sad tweet that I post, he put on his twitter "*my twitter name* seems upset "

I will say, on weekends, he does go to other colleges to party. But he texts me most of the time. And I am worried too that maybe he's hooking up with random girls. But I honestly have no clue, cause he's always with his boys.

But idk, why isn't he texting me ALLL DAY? Or calling me? Or setting up plans to hangout again?

Any ideas? Do you think he's interested? Maybe he likes me? Maybe he just wants to keep his options open? What do you think? Thanks

I think he's interested indeed. but he can't send you msges all the time without you replying as you should, you need to talk too.. you need to show him that YOU are interested too.

You don't have enough information to help you decide if he is a player or not. When he goes out with his boys to other colleges who does he party with? Is he treating other gals like he treats you? If you are this uncertain then investigate the guy. Go to some of the parties without his knowledge and see what he does. Research him!

Yah yah, I don't think he is a player at all either. Maybe you should set up the day to hang and not make him do everything. Maybe he feels like he is smothering you. He asked what you thought about him, and he liked the reply you gave him. Call him up and freaking hang out again haha. oh, and if he was a player he would not text you at parties. He seems really nice and really wants someone cute, like you. cheers!
