Call a reporter for the local newspaper and ask if she will interview you about your business. If that works, you could get discovered.

There are several ways to promote a business but I'll give you a few to start

1.- Article marketing (write articles about your product and publish them in go articles.com
2.- Social bookmarking, sign up in delicious.com and promote your site
3.- create a video and publish it on youtube using animoto.com ( (create less than 30 sec videos free)
4.- Blogs .- Use blogger
5.- Use squiido to bring traffic to your site
6.- Use keeyword research ( mattsfreekeywordtool.com)
7.-sign up tp free adds (usfreeadds.com)
8.- Facebook
9.- Tweeter
10.- Search engine optimization ( wrod press, seo etc)

This are just a few of like 45-50 things you need to do to bring traffic to your website, , its easy you just need to take your time and do all of it, but you'll have an explosion of traffic to your website in return

E-mail Marketing : This is cheap too considering your newsletter goes to like 300,000 people. This is no spamming, good company in this field does it.
